CAA 9th Operations Review, ESAC Introduction Summary of Activities During the past 12 months the DWP PI team has continued to process, validate, and deliver data products to CAA. The delivery of data has proceeded almost to schedule. CORR datasets slightly behind availability of FGM 5VPS and AUX data. These are now available until March/February 2014. Production of remaining CORR datasets for 2013 should by completed by end August as in proposed schedule. Reprocessing of CORR data sets due to FGM updates. Status of Software Development All software required to generate the current set of DWP datasets already exists. These applications have been running for several years. Following the problems with our UNIX RAID system production is now being ported to new MAC platform. Recommendations from OR8 OR8-R13 The board recommends that instrument teams ensure that all ancillary datasets are fully described in their ICDs. DWP Response All DWP datasets are fully described in the ICD. OR8-R14 All instrument teams should ensure that their user guides contain a detailed description and time-line of instrument operations and failures. Most of this information is already contained within the UG. OR8-R15 The board recommends that all teams investigate data quality at mode changes and instrument switch-on or switch-off. CAA 9th Operations Review, ESAC Action Items CC18-AI-13 to use a file listing flag in command line to get a listing of active files on the CAA DWP response DWP already checks for the availability of new FGM 5VPS and AUX files as they are required for production of the CORR data sets.   CC19-AI-01 check that the headers are complete and correct. This concerns particularly various descriptions in different levels (experiment, instrument, dataset). The experiment/instrument/data set descriptions in the header files have been updated. CC19-AI-04 to reprocess the pitch-angle products for the reprocessed FGM dates (for list, see slide 7 of annex 7). CAA 9th Operations Review, ESAC Action Items CC19-AI-17 to deliver the annual report and ICD on the Double Star datasets for the OR-9 review. DWP response Done.   CC19-AI-18 to deliver the Double Star datasets of 2004-8 to the CAA. The summary plots from LPP are ready for delivery. Pipeline for power spectra data is in place.
