Teaching Kids Real problems.

children. Kids from the ages of 5-11 are still grasping new aspects of life they have never encountered before. This means their knowledge of certain things is going to be very limited. Young children's attention span is also extremely small, so in order to keep their interest.

Books Books are one of the most effect ways to reach children, Parents and teachers have been using books for years to get points across. The best thing about books is that it is extremely easy to get kids interacting with the book, showing them the images and talking to them about the book while reading will peak their interest and cause the story to stick in their head. Colour and large images is the best way to ensure kids will remain interested in the book, as theres a lot going on that will keep their attention, children have a sponge brain persona so the more extravagant and colourful the more memorable the children will find the story. Video-Cartoon/Animation Young children will respond positively to animated or cartooned clips/ videos. The style of these two forms of media is entertaining to them due to the bright colours and quirky nature of the art. It is found to be more effective than physical people presenting things. Kids shows that were solely live action began to incorporate animation or cartoon into the content as it kept attention. Where as wholly animated shows continued to do well. 64 zoo Lane- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdNlepXoQB4 Morph- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pakP-SqRsg

INTERNET/APPS- Games The internet has become so essential in todays society, it’s a given that children are going to use it as a means of education. Its pretty obvious that children acknowledge digital things more than physical. Children primarily use the internet to play games so this has become a method of education for children. Apps are also a massive source of educational games for kids because nowadays you see 4 year olds with their parents phones banging out games. Audio It may not be as popular now but when I was younger Audiobooks were a massive part of my primary education, we played horrible histories, Fairy tales and school tapes while we were working. It may seem ineffective however, because children would listen to it in the background of their work the information they received stuck in their heads. The audio books were also entertaining as they were read by actors who would give the story a voice so it would be immersive. Horrible histories audio- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fj4clGW3rp4
