Why I chose this? Past three years (9-11) Technology Also part of senior year Technology Cell phone iPod Computer Television Question: How does the use of technology lead to high school students procrastinating?

Cell phones “Teens use mobile telephone to coordinate, and they use it as a way to provide a sense of security” Study on 802 teens Of those 78%-47 % smart phones

“If you are being deluged by constant communication, the pressure to answer immediately is quote high. So if you’re in the middle of a though, forget it.”

Computers 1 in 4 teenagers 9 in 10 teenagers have computer access at home Teens between age of 16-24 spend more than 27 hours a week “When I’m doing my homework, I’m a little bored of the topic, I have to listen to music to get motivated to do it” 50% use social media/Watch TV 60 %text 75% listen to music “When I’m bored I just automatically go to the app on my phone”
