CONCURRENT ENGINEERING PROJECT FOR MEM438/688 1. 4-5 People to form a team and elect a team leader. The team leader should report to the professor weekly about their progress/question. 2. To find a mechanism or device (at least 10 components) to design using concurrent engineering methodology 3. Pick one major/critical component from the design to do FEA, RP and CNC. 4. All the design should be in a concurrent engineering software platform such as Pro/E, IDEAS, … 5. The final results from this project should be a CE wheel, detail drawings of all components, an assembly drawing of the device, mechanism animation, FEA result, STL file for RP, and CNC code. 6. Prepare a 10-15 min. PPT presentation to report the CE experience in front of the whole class for their evaluation.
