Philatelic Federations Today: about 2000 members philatelic paper written for young collectors 6 times a year (Sfung) SFU (Philatelic Youth of Sweden) Founded 1978

SFU The BIG issue: How to get leaders ? How to interest young people in philately: You have to meet them !

SFU Invite the young people to a competition to draw a picture! Send invitation to the schools, separately to each class (two months before). The classes send you the drawings just about 2 weeks before the event. The day before the event you need some people to help you to display all the drawings. On the day of the event, not only the child comes, but all the family, to vote and to get a free gift for all children.

SFU Programs at schools Cooperation with the leisure staff. Offer different books of difficulty about how to collect stamps. Offer them stamps and support from experienced collectors
