ISS ARRIVAL PROCEDURES ARRIVAL : Students will meet MR. SMITH in ROOM 519. Upon the arrival of all students assigned to ISS, they will be escorted to the ISS room where they will sit until 8:45 AM. At 8:45 AM, they will be escorted back to the cafeteria where they may purchase breakfast. Students will only need NOTEBOOK PAPER, PENCILS, 2 BLUE or BLACK PENS, and a book to read (EDUCATIONAL ONLY! ) In the ISS room all personal belongings (backpack, cell phones, electronic devices, etc.) will be given to the ISS teacher where it will be locked up until dismissal time. There are 3 restroom breaks 10:00 AM, 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM……NO EXCEPTIONS! Students ARE REQUIRED TO WORK ALL DAY! FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN APPROPRIATE CONSEQUENCES . All assignments MUST BE LEGIBLE, and COMPLETE before being released from ISS. ( I )decide when work is complete. DISMISSAL: students will be dismissed at 4:05 to report to their designated area. STUDENTS ARE TO REMAIN IN THEIR DESIGNATED AREA!
LUNCH PROCEDURES Lunch will be provided to all students throughout their ISS assignment. If lunch is brought from home , it should only have a Sandwich, Fruit, a Vegetable and a BOTTLE OF WATER NO! chips, soda, candy, Gatorade/Powerade, etc. allowed in ISS. (ONLY IF THE STUDENT HAS MEDICAL ISSUES MAY THESE BE ACCEPTED). NO FOOD DELIVERIES : DURING ISS ASSIGMENT WATER is the only beverage allowed in ISS STUDENTS ARE TO PARTICIPATE IN ISS COMMUNITY SERVICE after D LUNCH at 1:17 PM OR 1:31 PM on THURSDAY! (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
DRESS CODE Students not only abide by Humble ISD and Woodcreek dress polices but will also follow the ISS DRESS CODE: ALL SHIRTS MUST BE TUCKED IN AT ALL TIMES ALL PANTS MUST BE ON or ABOVE WAIST (NO SAGGING) BELTS ARE TO BE WORN THROUGHOUT THE ISS ASSIGNMENT (IF NO BELT, TIE STRAPS WILL BE PROVIDED BY MR. SMITH) NO TIGHTS/LEGGINGS NO SHORT SKIRTS NO MIDRIFF SHIRTS NO FLIP FLOPS, SLIDES, Or BACKLESS SHOES (BOYS AND GIRLS) STUDENTS MUST FOLLOW ISS DRESS CODE THROUGHOUT ASSIGNMENT
RULES Students are to remain in their DESIGNATED ASSIGNED AREA. Students are to remain facing forward with feet flat on the floor at all times. Absolutely NO TALKING! No SLEEPING or LAYING your head down on your desk! Student must have permission from the teacher to speak and/or get out of their seat VIOLATION of the RULES 1ST VERBAL WARNING 2ND DEMERIT 3RD DEMERIT WITH PARENT CONTACT 4TH DEMERIT WITH AP NOTIFIED 5TH DEMERIT WILL RESULT IN REMOVAL FROM ISS @ ADMN DISCRETION!
