Making Divine Mercy Chaplets Session 5 - LOVE

Check that you have all supplies needed: One String 10 RED beads (most baggies have extra) 1 Pink or Red HEART bead 1 Blue HEART bead 1 Clip 1 Crucifix 1 Divine Mercy Medal (not in baggies) *Extra supplies are in Catechist Room (Basement)

String Clip & Crucifix onto string. Make sure they are both centered on string.

If you have trouble with stringing the beads, use a small bit of tape to make a “needle” on end of string by tightly wrapping tape around the ends. This will help guide string through the beads. *Do not cut string…it will fray and make it too short to finish project.

Tie a knot. Tie a knot to hold Crucifix and Clip in place.

Add pink heart to both strings and tie knot to hold in place.

Tie the knot as close as possible to the heart bead.

Next string one bead onto one side of string Next string one bead onto one side of string. You will then slide the other string through the same bead.

Pull the bead all the way down.

Repeat 10 times.

After 10 Red beads, tie a knot but leave a little room to move beads. See the space between so beads move up and down.

Add Blue Heart Bead and Medal.

Tie a knot to secure both bead and medal.

Completed project!
