6.NS.5 Integer War You will need: deck of cards Shuffle the deck. Deal all of the cards, one at a time, facedown, until each player has received 26 cards. Each player places his or her stack of cards facedown, in front of them. Red cards are negative numbers and black cards are positive numbers. Face cards have a value of 11 and aces have a value of 12. Each player turns over a card at the same time. Players compare integers represented by their cards. Player with the largest integer card, wins, and takes both cards. If cards have the same value, it is WAR. Each player lays down 3 additional cards facedown, and then turns over the next card. Player with the largest integer wins all cards. Continue until players have gone through all their cards, then reshuffle and continue play until one player is out of cards.
