Safety A founder member of the School Travel Forum (STF) One of the first school travel companies to be awarded the Quality Badge by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Safety management system developed with the help of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) This is another option for an Overview slides using transitions.

Isle of Wight trip September 2017 Depart Tiffield school on Monday 18th September at 7.30 am Travel to Southampton Docks Depart on ferry at Southampton at 11 am. Packed lunch needed Arrive East Cowes at 12 pm Travel to beach Beach afternoon- games, snack needed 5pm Arrival at Palm Court hotel Dinner and settle.

The Palm Court Hotel is an 18 room family run hotel situated in a quiet private road just one minute's walk from the beach path. It is used for school residential trips as a base to explore the island.

Wednesday – Blackgang Chine adventure park

Thursday – Carisbrooke Castle Museum

Friday Depart Palm Court hotel at 9 am Depart IOW by ferry at 12pm Arrive Southampton 1:30pm Arrive Tiffield approx. 3:30-4:30pm. Will send parent mail update if severely delayed

Evenings After dinner most evenings the children will go to the beach to play football, cricket etc. Some nights they will stay at the hotel and have a film, play games, go in the swimming pool etc. This is weather dependent. Thursday night is party night- Bring your disco clothes!!!!

Meals Breakfast- everyday children have choice of cereal, followed by a hot breakfast for example: beans on toast, croissants, bacon, hash browns, beans etc. Dinner - Always starts with soup and a roll, followed by a main which will be either pasta, roast chicken, burger and chips or a hot dog and fish and chips. All dinners are followed by a dessert, usually ice cream!! Packed lunches- drink, sandwich, fruit, chocolate bar and crisps Supper- Hot chocolate drink and biscuits before bed!!!

Swimming There is a 36Ft heated outdoor swimming pool that we may use one evening, so bring your swimming costume!!!

Money and clothing Kit list - sun cream, water bottle , hats and disposable cameras, swimsuit and a beach bag are essential. Plastic bag to put wet swimming clothes in. Money- all attractions are included in the price. Children may want to buy gifts, etc. so we say £20 per child maximum.
