Parents Evening and Consultations – working group- 28th June 2013 Our aims are to Propose a structure for parent/student/teacher meetings with effect from March 2014 State the expectations of a parents evening and other parent/student/ teacher meetings - model the ideal parent/teacher/ student meetings Review communication with parents about these meetings and the purpose of opportunities for parents and teachers to meet. As a group we will do this by Reviewing the current procedures and environment for parents evenings at Perins Canvass the views of all stakeholders. Look at software for an appointment system and make a decision as to whether we would like an appointment system Look at the interface between parents and teachers, can we create a more professional and appropriate environment for these meetings. Find out what happens for parents evenings in other schools
