Communication By Emily Almendarez

How do we communicate? Visual Auditory Tactile Chemical

Visual Communication Humans communicate by writing letters or reading one. Bears stand on their hind legs to show that it’s ready to attack.

Auditory Communication Humans can use auditory communication by saying hello, goodbye, etc. Mother bears warn their cubs that danger is coming by making a chuffing or braying sound. Hello!

Tactile Communication A human being can use tactile communication by hugging their child and showing that they love them. A mother bear can comfort, protect, or punish by using her body, muzzle, or paws.

Chemical Communication Humans could use chemical communication by smelling things and then showing a face and showing the other person what you feel like. Dogs can smell other dogs and tell them that they are in their territory.
