Features ANSI C runs on command line platform independent i/o routines, i.e. runs on Intel x86 (Windows, Linux, little endian) via SAMBA/NFS and on PA -RISC (HP-UX, big endian) implemented as plugin for CadPlan GUI (by means of korn-shell wrapper script)
Features (cont´d) Online help (-h Option) Verbose mode (-v option) to trace problems Trim dose matrix to body contour (-t Option) Automatically checks for valid filenames Easy installation and simple usage It´s small
Commandline options
Usage as CadPlan plugin Step 1 Add a new plan Add dummy field Select resolution of dose matrix
Usage as CadPlan plugin Step 2 Store selected parameters as new plan
Usage as CadPlan plugin Step 3 Run psi2cad as User Command from the Tools pulldown menu
Usage as CadPlan plugin Step 4 Check messages displayed in info box
Usage as CadPlan plugin Step 5 Reload plan for imported dose matrix
Usage as CadPlan plugin Once imported to CadPlan the externally calculated plan can be reviewed like any other locally calculated treatment plan

Resolution issues The CadPlan dose grid is fixed to a maximum number of 160112 grid points, i.e. the maximum size of the dose matrix depends on the grid spacing Reduction of grid spacing (e.g. from 2.5 mm to 1.25 mm) may lead to incomplete coverage of the regions of interest
Resolution issues (cont´d) If necessary redefine the center of the calculation area to cover regions of interest
Resolution issues (cont´d) Store the new grid spacing/calculation area as a new plan
Resolution issues (cont´d) Perform steps 3-5 as described above to import the externally calculated dose matrix with high resolution grid spacing. psi2cad will automatically detect the new grid and offset of the calculation area
Have fun. ;-)
