Non-Renewable or Renewable? Wind is a renewable source. Wind is a renewable source because it constantly blowing. Also, we have many thing to catch the wind like windmills and wind turbines. They collect wind to convert into mechanical energy.

History Of Wind Power Wind has been used as long as humans have out sails on sail boats. Awhile ago they came up with machines that would convert wind power into mechanical energy. Also, they use machines such as windmills and wind turbines , to ground grain and pump water.

How The Wind Is Recovered? We recover the wind by using windmills and wind turbines. Wind turbines work as a machine that converts the kinetic energy into mechanical energy.
