Presentation transcript:

Tape the essay checklist in the next page in your notebook Tape the essay checklist in the next page in your notebook. Right after your essay. Leave space to the right to write notes. Color the boxes the corresponding color (like they are the left). Go through your essay and color-code your essay. Make notes next to each requirement (out to the right) of what you need to work on and add. Work on revising your paper to meet the requirements. Everything may be super messy. That’s good. As you add the needed elements, check them off on your notes. Color-code any additions to your paper as needed.

Tape the peer editing feedback form in the next page in your notebook Tape the peer editing feedback form in the next page in your notebook. Right after your checklist. Leave space to the right to write notes. Give your essay to a partner. In your partners notebook, write your name at the top of the page where the Peer Editing Feedback Form is taped. Read the essay. Answer each section of the feedback form. Give GOOD answers. Just “yes” and “no” is NOT acceptable. Use the space beside the form to write more if needed. Below the form, write one positive comment about their paper and one area of growth for their paper. Return to the partner. Talk about what you wrote on their feedback form.
