Mr Frost

We interviewed Mr Frost and learned that he had many dreams as a young man... To buy his own bike which he paid for with his paper round money. To work outside – something you have done your whole life. To drive a combine harvester – we hope you get to do this one day! To grow fantastic potatoes – rumour has it they are marvellous! To be a dog owner.

Did you know... Mr Frost has 6 children and 11 grandchildren, two of which were pupils at Pope Paul. Mr frost has been a builder, a woodland keeper and a driver as well as our caretaker. He also loves animals and has owned many rabbits and dogs.

Mr Frost you have been our hard working, kind and reliable caretaker for 14 years. Thank you for teaching us how to be caretakers for our school and each other. Let us Pray: Lord make us caretakers like Mr Frost. Help us to care for each other and the world. Amen. A poem to be read by Isabelle Gidman after Grace.

Here are some of our favourite memories of you... When you locked two teachers in school! Your 70th birthday celebrations. Interviewing you about your life. Eating with you at breakfast Club. When you’ve rescued our footballs from the roof! Hearing about your adventures with Wilfey.

Mr Frost “I will miss “I will miss hearing seeing you your jokes.” everyday.” “I will miss hearing your jokes.” I will miss talking to you on the playground.” “I will miss seeing you on the roof (clearing leaves) during our lesson in Autumn.”
