Cross Community, cross border initiatives that improve trust and tolerance Removal of physical markers of segregation Implemented at a Local and Regional level

Priority 2: Contributing to a shared society €122m Key institutional capacities are developed for a shared society Facilitate the move away from the provision of parallel services along sectarian lines and back to back services along the border Develop the capacity and skills within the public sector to contribute to a shared society Promote innovative models/pilot projects Building positive relations at the local level Cross community initiatives and long-term activities in priority communities as a result of local action Challenge attitudes to sectarianism and racism through new opportunities for collaboration Acknowledging the past Victims and survivors are able to deal with the past on their own terms Significant groups of the population are able to see and hear about a different culture and history of the conflict. Support for organisations that promote European and International Networking Facilitate the exchange of best practice in peace and reconciliation transnationally. “MIDAS Measure 5.4”

Priority 2: Contributing to a shared society €122m Key institutional capacities are developed for a shared society Support research that focuses on promoting innovative best practice and transnational learning in relation to peace, conflict resolution and reconciliation Implemented by JTS Building positive relations at the local level Cross community initiatives and long-term activities in priority communities as a result of local action Challenge attitudes to sectarianism and racism through new opportunities for collaboration Acknowledging the past Victims and survivors are able to deal with the past on their own terms Significant groups of the population are able to see and hear about a different culture and history of the conflict. “MIDAS Measure 5.4”
