History of our school Piotr Skarga Secondary School is one of the oldest schools in the Grójec county and probably in Mazowsze. Approximate year of foundation is 1912. The present building was built before the outbreak of World War II. After the end of the war it was expanded. In the 1960s, a gym and a new wing with three rooms and changing rooms for students were added. At the end of the 1980s an assembly hall was built over the gym with a link.
Piotr Skarga – our patron Skarga is remembered by Poles as a vigorous early advocate of reforms to the Polish-Lithuanian polity, and as a critic of the Commonwealth's governing classes, as well as of its religious tolerance policies.
