Animal Ordinance 560.3 Spay and Neuter Surgical Fee Actual cost to perform: Cat neuter/spay = $68 Dog neuter/spay = $142 Recommended fee: Cat neuter or spay = $40 Dog neuter or spay = $85

Animal Ordinance 560.3 Actual cost is calculated as follows: Dogs Personnel time = $38 Supplies/Overhead = $104 Total = $142 Cats Personnel time = $18 Supplies/Overhead = $50 Total = $68 Recommended fee Increases cost recovery to 59% for dogs, 59% for cats Brings county closer to low-cost clinics in community Average Dog = $100 Average Cat = $54
