Hemic & Lymphatic A 14 year old patient was in a motor vehicle crash and suffered blunt abdominal trauma. Due to internal bleeding and a ruptured spleen, the patient requires a splenectomy. After making the initial abdominal incision, the physician identifies the spleen. Splenic blood vessels are tied off. The spleen is removed in total. Maternity Care and Delivery Routine prenatal care was rendered to this patient, who presented at 41 weeks in labor. The patient was examined, and the fetus was found to be in a breech position. The fetus was turned via external abdominal approach into cephalic position. After the turning of the fetus, an episiotomy was performed.
