Module 1: Career Coach & Education Planning Initiative Emsi: Good morning everyone and welcome. My name is RP and I work for Economic Modeling Specialists Intl, Emsi. I also have Angela Baucom product Manager for the California CC Technology Center. We are privileged to talk with you about the EPI and specifically the career exploration component of the SSP. Before we do that let me get some house cleaning out of the way. We have everyone muted for this presentation, But as any question arise please use the question box and type in your question. We will address those question at the end of the presentation. Angela will begin giving us an overview of the EPI and I’ll talk about the Career Coach which is the career exploration component within the SSP.

Self-Assessment & Career Exploration In the Student Service Portal we are the Career Exploration The function of the self-assessment is to help students discover more about themselves as a person and provide recommendations of career clusters. The recommended career clusters from the self-assessment provide a way for students to start exploring careers and shows them occupational data.
