When and Where Marie Curie was Born Marie Curie was born on November 17, 1867 in Warsaw, Poland. She died on July 4,1934 in Sancellemoz, France Marie Curie died of pernicious anemia, a most likely effect of working with radioactivity.

Her family life Marie Curie got married to Pierre Curie in 1895. And had three girls Their first child, Irene, was born in 1897, in 1903 Marie and Pierre lost their second child, born prematurely, then their third daughter, Eve, was born. Then her husband Pierre Curie died in 1906 by a horse-drawn carriage in Paris and Marie Curie became a widow.
