I Peace for Now Russia withdraws from the war in December, 1917. Signs Treaty of Brest-Litovsk with Germany in March, 1918. America joins the fight in June, 1917.

Fresh American troops “doughboys” were too much for the Central Powers to deal with Germany was exhausted November 11, 1918

On October 4, 1918 the Germans ask President Wilson for an Armistice. War officially ends November 11, 1918,at 11am. Germans face starvation, fresh troops, over 1 million dead. Peace for NOW!
