Learning Journeys and Observations Learning Journey’s are our file of evidence of all the seven areas of learning. This will include written observations and picture observations. Broken down over the year – half term. Wow cards – We will send home ‘Wow’ cards which we would like you to fill out. This could be something new your child has achieved eg. They draw a picture independently and describe it.

Home Link Book The children will receive a bag, which they will need to bring to the School Nursery everyday and will place this in a box. They will have a Home Link Book which the children can place any special memories/occasions or work they have done at home and we will share this with their friends. Work is sometimes sent home which will extend their learning.

Reading Please sign reading records every time your child has read, discussing the pictures (this is most beneficial to your child when done daily for 10 minutes). As a minimum, we expect this to have been signed by a parent / carer three times a week and a comment. At the end of the half term if your child completes this each week they will receive a prize. ‘Enjoy each day as we learn along the way’
