REFUGEES CRISIS With the increase of the refugees arrivals, and has become more and more important to boost the integration processes and multicultural coexistence. (In 2015, over 1 million people – refugees, displaced persons and other migrants. EC data.)

EC PRIORITIES One of the priority of EU Commission in 2016 is the to increase the processes of the integration and social inclusion through the participation of young refugees/migrants at Erasmus+ exchanges. “The Erasmus+ Programme aims at promoting equity and inclusion by facilitating the access to participants with disadvantaged backgrounds and fewer opportunities compared to their peers whenever disadvantage limits or prevents participation in transnational activities” . (Erasmus+ Guide 2016)

NEEDS ANALYSIS What are the reasons for this non- involvement of the young refugees /migrants ?

SCAYP OBJECTIVE In order to enhance young refugees/migrants fair participation at the Erasmus+ exchanges, Scayp project aims to improve the communication among these young peoples and youth workers of the reception centres, youth organisations and other NGOs .
