Project idea - Our proposal Learning resource for project management focussing on conflict, in particular conflict management. Look to define conflict - different types, e.g. functional/dysfunctional. Assessing feasibility of creating online booklet (e-resource). Investigate argument that conflict can be beneficial for groups/teams using theorists in field of conflict. Introduce conflict scenarios and allow the reader to choose how they would react - correct way? Aims Raise awareness of conflict within teams through the use of our project management tool. To create a learning resource in the format of a booklet, physical (hard copy), as well as potentially an online copy of the booklet (e-resource). Use theorists to gain different perspectives and reinforce understanding to our target audience (Business students at Bournemouth University, with a greater emphasis on first year students). Objectives To have our learning resource booklet completed by the Christmas break (Friday 16th December 2016). Every group member to contribute a minimum of 80 hours to the group project as a whole, documented on individual timesheets. Each individual to effectively contribute 20% to overall project poster, on display at the final exhibition. To have a minimum of one meeting every week in the lead up to the exhibition (excluding Christmas break) to ensure all members are kept up-to-date and progress is being closely monitored. Jamie
Target Audience Business Studies students at Bournemouth University. How many currently studying? Business students 1st year BU 380 Entirety of Business Students 1,160 Entirety of students studying under the Faculty of Management Approx 3,800. Business Studies students at Bournemouth University. Greater emphasis on those in their first year of studies. If our learning resource proves effective, may look to target students in year one studying different courses. Jamie

Potentially ask all those who used our learning resource to fill out a questionnaire regarding how they found our learning resource.
