Limbrick News Date: 19th October 2017 Latest news: Our children had a fantastic time with the GB athlete, Dominick Cunningham, last Friday. They all completed the sponsored fitness circuit really well and it was a fantastic experience for them all, completing fitness training alongside Dominick. We would like to thank you all and all your families and friends for sponsoring our children so well. At the time of going to press, we have received a fabulous £1098.98. If you have managed to raise sponsorship money but haven’t brought it into school yet, please bring it into school by Wednesday 1st November. Thank you. Special mention certificates were awarded to: Reception - Hanga Yr 1 – Alfie Yr 2 – Alexandra Yr 3 – Nhyira Yr 4 – Logan Yr 5 – Daniel Yr 6 – Iulia & Latif Reminder – Staff Training Day: School will be closed to pupils tomorrow, Friday 20th October. Bonfire Night lunch: Our cook will be providing a special bonfire night school dinner on Friday 3rd November. The menu is included in the “What’s on ....” sheet attached to this newsletter. If your child doesn’t normally have school dinners, but would like to try this menu, it will be free for Reception and KS1. Please send £2.20 into school if your child is in KS2. Change of pick up arrangements: Please ring the office by 2.45pm if you need to let us know that someone different will be picking up your child that day. This will give the office staff enough time to pass on this message to all the necessary staff. Nasal Flu Vaccine for YR, Y1, Y2, Y3 and Y4 children. This will take place on Tuesday 21st November. Consent forms will be sent out on Monday 30th October. The bell goes at 8.55am. Children need to arrive at school between 8.45am and 8.55am, in order to undertake early morning work. Therefore we will continue to record poor punctuality. If children arrive after 8.55am, they will be recorded in the late book and their parents/carers will be asked to sign the late book and record the reason why.
