How to check Hosting Bandwidth & Disk space on Hostgator and WHM It’s good to check the bandwidth and disk space quota for each hosting account once in awhile. To check the Disk Space and Bandwidth on Hostgator hosted websites… On Hostgator Cpanel 1. Login to the Cpanel at https://ptcruiser.websitewelcome.com:2083
2. On the Cpanel main page you can see the current Disk Space usage and Monthly Bandwidth Transfer Disk Space Usage indicates the amount of space you’re using on the hosting account. E.g. for this account 2.6 gbs is used from total 10 gbs allocated for this account The Monthly Bandwidth Transfer indicates the data transferred on the account. The max Bandwidth is set to 70 gb for this account and it resets to 0 every beginning of the month
3. In case the hosting account is close to exceeding its limits Cpanel will send a notification email. You can change/add the contact email address details on the Preferences tab -> Update Contact Info
4. You can add/edit the email addresses that the notification emails are sent to. It’s important to add email addresses that you check often since these the notifications will be send to these when the account is reaching its limits. Note – the email address should always be an email address that is not dependent on the hosting account or the domain used for the hosting account. Any Gmail (e.g. user@gmail.com) account is safe choice for a contact email address
On Hostgator WHM 1. Login to the whm at https://ptcruiser 2. Choose Create a New Account on the left sidebar
3. Scroll down on the page until you see the Account Creation Resource section Here you can see the WHM Reseller details, and how much disk space and bandwidth is left.
4. If you want to edit any account details such as bandwidths, passwords, etc., you can refer to the left sidebar links.
