My Google Sketch up Historical House By: Ashley Mahoney The Argory My Google Sketch up Historical House By: Ashley Mahoney

Step 1 – Drawing a Rectangle and using the push pull tool

Step 1 Information Hover over the tool in the shape of a square next to the pencil and click. Then draw a rectangle that is long and wide. Use the push pull tool to give the rectangle a 3d effect. Once this step is finished then you have built the foundation of The Argory.

Step 2 – Drawing a line and using the push pull tool.

Step 2 Information Use the push pull tool again to pull up the rectangle to the about the same height as the Argory. Draw a line using the pencil tool to where your rectangle you drew in step 1 was. Then push and pull the top bit of the 3d rectangle only but don’t pull it out too far.

Step 3 – Making Stairs

Step 3 Information Now you have pulled out the top bit of the Argory click on the rectangle tool and draw a long rectangle in the middle of the bottom bit touching the bottom of the top bit. Then pull it out big because we will be using the first square later on. Then pull out the square to the bottom of the Argory and draw a line in the middle of it and pull it out do the same for 3 more stairs.

Step 4 - Making the poles and using the push pull tool

Step 4 Information Draw a rectangle on the first bit of the steps but don’t pull it to the end of the first bit and leave a little room on the sides. Once you have done that use the circle to make a circle as big as the room on the sides. The draw another rectangle above the first one and make sure that it is bigger but pull out the sides so it is wider then the first square. Then pull up the circles so it is touching the second square above the first one. Then draw another rectangle

Step 5 – Adding a door and an arch

Step 5 Information Draw a rectangle in the middle of the poles and pull it out then draw a smaller rectangle inside and push it in then on the sides of the smaller rectangle draw another rectangle but don’t make it to big and draw a line in the middle repeat with the other side. Then draw and arch above the pulled out rectangle and pull it out to fit.

Step 6 – Making the top bit of the Argory

Step 6 - Information Draw a line in the middle of the top bit of the Argory then half the remaining 2 sides. Then erase the middle line and you have created the window frame. Then pull out the middle square a little. Then half the middle square and do the same with the remaining 2 sides then repeat by erasing the lines. Then you have a window.

Step 7 – The Rooftop House and final windows

Step 7 Information On the tool bar on top of your screen you will see the word “draw” click on draw and then click on polygon then go to birds eye view of the house and place a large polygon on top of the roof. Then use the push pull tool to give the polygon a 3D effect . Then use the square tool to make squares on each of the side of the polygon’s sides.

Step 8 – Color, Texture and More

Step 8 Information Now your done GO CRAZY! Make a hedge around the Argory or even a pond. I made a private supermarket !
