MYOB ClientConnect Product Suite – Processing Sales August 2009

MYOB ClientConnect Products The MYOB ClientConnect Product Suite is made up of 3 Products: MYOB ClientConnect MYOB ClientConnect Plus – integrates with MYOB Premier and MYOB Premier Enterprise MYOB EXO ClientConnect – integrates with MYOB Premier/MYOB Premier Enterprise AND MYOB EXO Business MYOB ClientConnect Plus MYOB EXO ClientConnect

Selling ClientConnect or ClientConnect Plus MYOB ClientConnect and MYOB ClientConnect Plus These 2 products can be sold by all team members in Team Siberia, and are also available through retail outlets and BD Partners These 2 products are sold through Archie in the same way that the Accounting range of products are sold For those team members not in Team Siberia, you will be required to create an Opportunity as you do now for all full box products using the Product Line of All Products

Selling EXO ClientConnect MYOB EXO ClientConnect is sold in a different way: Can only be sold by a select few team members in the BD Contact Centre Is not available through retail outlets or BD Partners (BD Partner will be able to in the future) Will be available through ED Partners If a client is interested in purchasing MYOB EXO ClientConnect you must create an Opportunity On the Opportunity you will be required to select the MYOB EXO ClientConnect Product Line – no Group will need to be selected

ClientConnect Agreements ClientConnect and ClientConnect Plus are both sold with a 12 month support agreement When the client registers their software they are automatically emailed their Activation Key The client needs to enter their Serial Number and Activation Key into their software in order to use it The client will be sent a renewal notice after the 12 months – if the client’s agreement expires their software will become read-only MYOB EXO ClientConnect is sold with a recurring annual support agreement – the client will be automatically billed each year from the account they specify on their Order Form

Family Upgrades Upgrades between the ClientConnect and ClientConnect Plus products are handled in a similar way to how we handle Family Upgrades now When modifying the ClientConnect product, you will have the choice of 2 upgrade options to ClientConnect Plus Which option you select depends on the clients current agreement

Family Upgrades If the client has less than 3 months left on their current MYOB ClientConnect agreement: use Part # MCCPCONMCC-3MTH-AU This gives the client ClientConnect Plus with an additional 12 months support agreement If the client has greater than 3 months left on their current MYOB ClientConnect agreement: use Part # MCCPCONMCC-AU This gives the client the ClientConnect Plus product with the remainder of existing ClientConnect support agreement only

Upgrading to EXO ClientConnect If a client is currently using ClientConnect or ClientConnect Plus and they wish to upgrade to EXO ClientConnect: There is no upgrade product in Archie There is no discounted upgrade price You will need to follow the standard procedure of selling a full box of EXO ClientConnect The client will be sold a full box of EXO ClientConnect and their old agreement will be ended – this will be completed by the select team members handling the EXO ClientConnect sales

ClientConnect Plus – Multi User ClientConnect Plus has the ability to be run on a peer-to-peer network If a client would like to have multiple employees using ClientConnect Plus over a peer-to-peer network, the client will need to purchase multiple copies of the software for each of the users and their machines

ClientConnect Plus – Multi User When selling ClientConnect Plus for use as a multiple user program, you would need to select more than one copy of the ClientConnect Plus product on your Quote e.g. 1st New Line Item – select ClientConnect Plus Product 2nd New Line Item – select ClientConnect Plus Product This means the client is sent multiple copies of the product, and each product will have its own Serial Number to be used to install and license the software on each machine The client can then activate sharing from within the ClientConnect software

Trial Versions 2 Trial Versions will be available on myob.com; MYOB ClientConnect and MYOB ClientConnect Plus The Trial Versions will be functional for 30 days Clients can upgrade from the Trial Version to the full version and keep using their existing Trial Version data

Archie Product Part Numbers Full Products: ClientConnect - MCC-AU/NZ ClientConnect Plus - MCCP-AU/NZ Trial Version Upgrades to Full Versions: ClientConnect - MCCCONTD-AU/NZ ClientConnect Plus - MCCPCONTD-AU/NZ Note: You will be given a Quick Reference Card later this week that will include all the ClientConnect Part Numbers and Pricing
