Discovering ancient civilisations Ancient China Kireev Dmitriy, student of Zherdevskaya School №2

Aim Learn more about Chinese Civilisation.

Tasks Find interesting pictures about the Chinese Civilisation. Find information about Ancient China. Find interesting pictures about the Chinese Civilisation. Make a presentation. Tell listeners about Chine Civilisation.

The Chinese civilisation is one of the oldest and most sophisticated in the contemporary world. It is the only civilisation where succession of the state and of the culture is kept during for 4 thousand years. This country is called China from the name of Chinese dynasty Chsin.

During the times of Rome Empire European people called it “terra setae”. This civilisation was situated in the centre of the Earth (as they thought) on the highest part of the Earth. So, the citizens of this state called their country Tyin-syi or Podnebesnaya strana.

On the east there were Yellow and Easten – Chinese seas, on the south there was the valley of the river Yein- Chzi . On the north there were deserts Goby and Alashan. On the west the boarder of the China is Mountain’s system of Tibet.

This civilisation was highly developed in the XI-III th centuries before our era.

They were ordinary people with yellow skin and narrow eyes They were ordinary people with yellow skin and narrow eyes. Also they were good warriors.

There were four great Chinese inventions: printing and making papers, powder, compass. The invention of the silk and china were very important for the whole world. In China were made the first astronomy inventions. Chinese people were the first who noticed some space appearance.

Chinese people grew agricultural plants Chinese people grew agricultural plants. China is the motherland of the tea and rice and millet. They made beautiful things from bronze and ceramic things. China was the leader of metallurgy.

Nowadays we use Chinese foundation on of philosophy by Confucius, military tactics by Sun Chsi and dialectic elements of Daoism – the independent Chinese religious.
