Overview

Estate The estate is 280 acres 12 miles of Wall surrounding the estate Originally the Palace was a small hunting lodge

The “Sun King”

Construction 36,000 workers, 6,000 horses and 50 years to complete Cost is unknown because Louis XIV burnt all records so no one would know how much money he spent

Main Entrance

Size 54,000 square feet !!!! 500 meters long or equal to 5 football fields 2000 windows, 1250 fire places, 67 staircases 700 rooms that could house more than 5000 people
