Seeking to Learn how to Pray علمنا أن نصلي Teach us to Pray

واذ كان يصلي في موضع لما فرغ قال واحد من تلاميذه يا رب علمنا ان نصلي كما علم يوحنا ايضا تلاميذه. فقال لهم متى صليتم فقولوا ابانا الذي في السماوات ليتقدس اسمك ليات ملكوتك لتكن مشيئتك كما في السماء كذلك على الارض. خبزنا كفافنا اعطنا كل يوم. واغفر لنا خطايانا لاننا نحن ايضا نغفر لكل من يذنب الينا ولا تدخلنا في تجربة لكن نجنا من الشرير. (لو 11: 1- 4) Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples“ So He said to them, "When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one". (Luk 11 : 1-4) 2

الحب ... والمهابة Love ... and Respect أبانا Our Father الابن يكرم اباه و العبد يكرم سيده فان كنت انا ابا فاين كرامتي و ان كنت سيدا فاين هيبتي قال لكم رب الجنود (ملا 1 : 6) A son honors his father, And a servant his master. If then I am the Father, Where is My honor? And if I am a Master, Where is My reverence? Says the LORD of hosts (Mal 1 : 6) 4

الدالة Closness لان كل من يسال ياخذ ومن يطلب يجد ومن يقرع يفتح له. فمن منكم وهو اب يساله ابنه خبزا افيعطيه حجرا او سمكة افيعطيه حية بدل السمكة. ( لو 11: 10، 11) For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? (Luk 11 : 10 – 11) 5

الحضن In His bosom فقام و جاء الى ابيه و اذ كان لم يزل بعيدا راه ابوه فتحنن وركض و وقع على عنقه و قبله (لو 15: 20) And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. (Luk 15 : 20) 6

الصلاة اكتشاف أبوة الله Praying is discovering أبانا Our Father كل البشر إخوتي All men are my brothers اذكرهم واذكرني Remember them & remember me الصلاة اكتشاف أبوة الله Praying is discovering God’s parenthood 7

ليتقدس اسمك Hallowed be Your name مع كل من يقدسك ... اقبل تقديسنا نحن أيضاً With all who sanctify You … Accept our sanctification too ليت الكل يقدسك ويتقدس بك If only all sanctify You and be sanctified by You علمني أن أقول بغير فتور ... آجيوس Teach me to say without ceasing … Agious 10

ليتقدس اسمك Hallowed be Your name علمني أنادي إسمك كل حين Teach me to call Your name all the time علمني أكون قديس كما أنك قدوس Teach me to be Holy as You are Holy علمني أسجد لك كما يسجد كل السماويين Teach me to worship You like all the heavenly beings 11

Reign forever … quickly ليأتِ ملكوتك Your kingdom come املك داخلي Reign in me internally Micro Cosmos املك على العالم Reign over the world Micro Cosmos املك إلى الأبد ... بسرعة Reign forever … quickly 12

ليأتِ ملكوتك Your kingdom come احكم يا رب للمظلومين Judge, O Lord, to the oppressed الخير ... والحق ... والجمال ... والحب The Good ... & right ... & beauty ... & love فى قلبي وفى بيتي In my heart and in my Home 13

لتكن مشيئتك Your will be done أثق فى إرادتك الصالحة المرضية الكاملة I trust in Your full, valid and satisfactory Will لا تتركني أعطل مشيئتك Do not allow me to hinder your will أشكرك واقبل بفرح كل ما تصنعه I thank you & accept joyfully all what You do 14

كما فى السماء كذلك على الأرض On earth as it is in heaven ألغي فكري ... وثبت فكرك Revoke my thinking & confirm Yours اقمع جسدي ... وفرح روحي Discipline my body … rejoice my spirit دوقني طعم السماء ... Let me taste Heaven 15

كما فى السماء كذلك على الأرض On earth as it is in heaven إسمك قدوس دائماً فى السماء ... ليته على الأرض أيضا Your name is always Holy in Heaven … let it be on earth too ملكوتك لا ينتهي فى السماء ... ليته على الأرض أيضا Your Kingdom is eternal in Heaven … let it be on earth too مشيئتك فاعلة كاملة فى السماء ... ليتها على الأرض أيضا Your will is effective & complete in Heaven … let it be on earth too 16
