Life Series Getting started “Congratulations, today is the first day of the rest of your life.” Lori Bainum

Let’s get real. Getting Quiet, Surrender & Seek December 18, 2014 Life Series Let’s get real. Getting Quiet, Surrender & Seek December 18, 2014

Life Wheel Friendships Family Health Spiritual/faith/beliefs Occupation Spouse/mate/partner Hobbies Contribution/community Financial Draw a circle and slice your pie of life up into your chosen number of slices. You size the slice as it is NOW in your life. In the center of the circle draw a small circle to be the hub of the wheel. That’s for SELF. Rate your relationship with yourself.

A favorite quote: “It’s not how you feel that determines how you act; it’s how you act that determines how you feel.”

Yep, even A Types benefit from Surrendering Story time Don’t have to wait until you hit rock bottom You control very little in life Let it be Surround yourself with love Ask, pray, meditate, sit in silence, open your heart

Seek help, guidance and courage Picture someone very close to you and ask for something for them Put in the detail how you feel that will help them be who they are meant to be and be happy Close your eyes and visualize for them

Now it’s about you It’s so much easier for us to visual and put out the intention for others we love. You are capable of doing it for yourself.

Time and Timeless What is Time? Is there such a thing? Deepak Chopra’s list of “The Misuse of Time”: Being anxious about the future Spiritually speaking, many will tell you that there is no such thing as time. That is another discussion for another day. Reliving the past Regretting the old mistakes Reliving yesterday Anticipating tomorrow We live in a linear society and therefore we dealing with seconds and minutes ticking by each day. Racing against the clock Brooding over impermanence Resisting change We rush, we multi-task, we become fragmented, we think we are getting more done. How many people do you know including yourself that say things like: “I’m so busy, there’s not enough hours in the day.” We are not getting done what we want to get done in the timeframe we have given ourselves. “I don’t have time to even pee during the day.” “I can’t seem to get my head above water.”

Time management I love time management, but not for managing time. It’s makes us aware of what’s important and what needs to be eliminated. Prioritize, plan and be in the moment while you execute.

Settle down Getting quiet and surrendering will help you manage your time better. You will know what you want to get accomplished without all of the static. You will get more done if you don’t act like a chicken with it’s head chopped off.

Topics to be covered during our sessions together Clarity in life Time management Self motivation Circular patterns that make you unhappy Your life wheel and assigning priorities Relationships Dealing with fear Food, recipes and more Limiting beliefs Music Listening to you, not the voice in your head Creativity Toxic situations Effective communication Push back due to change Suffering Change management Gratitude Sense of humor Surrendering Getting in touch with nature Your inner circle Meditation Zen living and thinking Affirmations Balance, health, nutrition Dreaming in detail Being authentic and genuine Beauty Open heart & mind The 4 Agreements Negativity Laughter and healing Clutter in life and your mind Natural laws
