Amendment I Currently Reads As: Where referenced in the Bylaws: SkillsUSA-VICA and/or Vocational Proposed Amendment: To remove the -VICA from SkillsUSA-VICA, to only state SkillsUSA. Change reference from Vocational to Career. Rationale: This will change titles/terms to the proper titles and terms used.

Amendment II Currently Reads As: Where referenced in the Bylaws: Postsecondary Cluster Proposed Amendment: To remove all references to the Postsecondary Cluster. Rationale: This will remove all references to nonexistent clusters

Amendment VIII SECTION IV: GOVERNING BODIES IV. MTTA PRESIDENT ELECT Currently Reads As: 6. Develop and propose the program of work for the next year, with the assistance of the Executive Committee, for recommendation to the Board of Directors 7. Serve as a delegate to the Missouri ACTE House of Delegates 10. Assist the MTTA Conference Coordinator at DESE by performing the duties of program coordinator for Missouri ACTE Proposed Amendment: 10. Assist the MTTA Conference Coordinator at DESE by performing the duties of program coordinator for Missouri ACTE Assist the MTTA Conference Coordinator Rational:To remove section 6 and 7 of duties and move them to the MTTA Conference Coordinator position. Amendment IX ARTICLE VI-OFFICERS: Section A Currently Reads As: The officers of the MTTA shall be President, President Elect, Past President, Secretary, Treasurer, SkillsUSA-VICA Representative and Director & Conference Coordinator from DESE, and shall be considered the Executive Board of Directors. Proposed Amendment: The officers of the MTTA shall be President, President Elect, Past President, Secretary, Treasurer, SkillsUSA Representative, and Director & Conference Coordinator from DESE, MTTA Conference Coordinator, and a representative from DESE and shall be considered the Executive Board of Directors. Rationale: Change the positions of the Board of Directors Due to changes in at DESE

Amendment X ARTICLE VI-OFFICERS: Section C Currently Reads As: The term of office of President, President Elect, and Past President shall be for one year. The term of office of Secretary and SkillsUSA-VICA Representative shall be for three years. Such terms shall begin at the last regular business meeting of the Association, during the annual meeting, at which said officers are elected/appointed. (Amended July 25, 1989) Proposed Amendment: The term of office of President, President Elect, and Past President shall be for one year. The term of office of Secretary, Conference Coordinator, and SkillsUSA Representative shall be for three years. Such terms shall begin at the last regular business meeting of the Association, during the annual meeting, at which said officers are elected/appointed. (Amended July 25, 1989) Rationale: Create terms for the Conference Coordinator.
