Welcome to Main Campus! The 9 Year Old Team

Intensive English IE students attend instruction in Reading and Language Arts classes five days a week. IE students attend IE extension class five days a week as well to get additional exposure in vocabulary in core classes. During the IE class, IE teachers encourage students to use English only.

General Rules Students should be at school ready to start class at 8:30. Students can bring a small snack each day for snack time. Classroom supplies funds (300 RMB). Pick up is at 3:56 and parents or drivers need to come INTO the school to get students.

Homework Expectations All students should read 20 minutes each night. IE student homework is dependent on level and teacher Homework may differ slightly from teacher to teacher Homework should not take more than one hour a night with the exception of the occasional special projects. Foreign Language Classes also gives homework

Specials Classes Library—return books on time. Music—students will learn vocal music and recorders. PE—remember appropriate clothes, shoes, extra shirt, bag for dirty shirt, and water bottle. Foreign Language—pencil case Art—pencil case Technology—USB and pencil case

Moodle During emergency school closures students need to log onto Moodle to get their work. Useful classroom and course information is also available on Moodle. After School Activities Dragon News Choir Swimming Strings Group **experience needed** Special Organized Events and Fundraisers are also offered throughout the year. The first organized event will be September 15th!!

Be on the Look Out! Chance to buy snacks, drinks, or lunches at the Dragon Bites Kiosk on Monday only for nine year olds. It is optional to bring money on this day if your child wants to get food. Week Without Walls trips (make sure you have signed up!)
