Texas Dallas has a lot of man made lakes. And Texas is close to the Trinity River. Texas has 261,797 square miles of land. Some landforms are at the coast. A couple of them are Plains, lakes, mountains, and hills.

Tennessee Wrens Nest is the home of a big science research project, located in the north west of Dudley. It is one of the most important geological locations in Britain. The Dudley bug is found here. It is the only place in the world where this species is found. People call it the Dudley beach, even though it is not near the sea! This is because the huge rocks that have formed here are as big as some cliffs! Over 700 known types of fossils are found here. 86 of them are found no where else on the Earth! Dudley used to be under a tropical sea so most of the fossils are sea creatures

UK Cheddar Gorge is a special set of caves. It was once home to the Vikings and people from the last ice age who lived in the caves. Also it is the birth place of Cheddar cheese, that’s where the name Cheddar comes from. It was the giant store house where the cheese was kept to set. It is located near a big city called Bristol. Loy yang open cut Info The coal seams are between 15 and 30 million years old and have a low ash content of about tow per cent. The mine depth and coal seam thickness are 180 meters with overburden thickness between 5m and 24m Tarra Bulga National Park Tarra Bulga National Park is in South Gippsland. One of the animals there is called a Lowland Copperhead. Tarra Bulga is well known for it's Mountain Ash Trees. The Visitors Picnic Area provides picnic tables,

Taiwan The Seashore Mountain Range is one of five main ranges in TW, which is on the east coat. Most of the mountains are 1000 meters tall, and they extend 150 kilometres long, 10 kilometres wide in average. The Seashore Mountain Range is forced by the collision of the forerunners of the Eurasian Plate and the Philippine Sea Plate. The major seismic faults in Taiwan correspond to the various suture zones between the various terranes, which is the cause of Taiwan topography with many mountains. The Seashore Mountain Range is famous for its abundant precious stones, for the range used to the undersea volcanoes uplifted by plate movement.

New Jersey A famous mountain range in New Jersey is the Kittatinny Mountains. They are a section of the Appalachian Mountain chain that runs up the eastern part of the United States. The Kittatinny Mountain range is a long ridge traversing through north western New Jersey. The highest peak In the range is High Point at 1803 feet (550 meters). The Kittatinny Mountain ranged formed when the New Jersey plate went under small islands to form the mountains. A unique geological formation found in the Kittatinny Mountains is the Delaware Water Gap. The famous Appalachian Trail covers the length of the Kittatinny Mountains. The Kittatinny Mountain provides a home to large amount of wildlife.
