My trip to Malta last summer

When did I go?/ When were you in Malta? I travelled to Malta last Easter. I went from the 7th April to the 15th April.

How did I travel? I travelled by train to Madrid- Chamartin. Then I went to the airport by underground.

Then I flew to Malta!!!!

Who did I go with? I went with my daughter Iria.

Where did I stay? I stayed at my friends’ house.

What places did I visit there? I visited the capital, La Valeta. 7.000 people live in La Valeta. It was a small town. It was a very interesting place. It had a fortified city, built in 1552.

What places did I visit there? I visited Fort St. Elmo, the fortified city. I saw the Auberge de Castille. The Auberge was the house of the Knights of Malta.

What places did I visit there?/ What things did I do there? I visited Marsaxlokk. Marsaxlokk is a typical fishing village. I took a boat ride. I loved the typical fishing boats.

What did I eat? I ate a lot of lampuki, the typical dish of the island. Lampuki is a fish.

What places did I visit there? I visited Rabat. There I saw the famous catacombs of St. Paul.

What did I do there? I went to the beach. Malta had fabulous beaches. I saw the coast. In Malta there were spectacular cliffs.

What did I do there? I went dancing. I slept a lot. I went clubbing. I went trekking. I didn’t get drunk!

What was the weather like? It was very sunny. It was warm. The temperatures were around 20 degrees. The sky was clear but sometimes it was foggy. It rained one day.
