Guidelines

If I make a BAD CHOICE 1st Offense: Verbal Warning. 2nd Offense: Student must schedule an appointment to fill out the Student Action Plan with Ms. Gregoire. Parent is contacted. 3rd Offense: Detention with teacher during lunch or after school. Parent is contacted again. 4th Offense: Administrative Referral. **Severe behavior clause: The teacher reserves the right to go straight to an administrative referral for extreme cases**                         

Cell Phones 1st offense: Verbal warning 2nd offense: Cell phone confiscated and returned at the end of class 3rd offense: Cell phone confiscated and returned at the end of the day 4th offense: Parent contact and administrative referral **WILL BE COLLECTED ON QUIZ/TEST DAYS

Tardy Policy Students are allowed three tardies to class. On the fourth tardy, the student will take the tardy paragraph and write the paragraph three times by hand. This is to be returned to Ms. Gregoire. Failure to do so will result in a detention and your parent/guardian will be contacted. After seven tardies, an administrative referral will be issued.

Entering the Classroom Enter the classroom quietly Take your assigned seat Get out all necessary materials including homework, notebook and a pencil. Copy the “DO NOW” assignment from the board. Work quietly Wait for further instructions from the teacher.

Exiting Classroom BEFORE the bell rings everyone should be: In assigned seat Quiet Gather all of your materials Clean up area around your desk Wait for me to dismiss the class CALCULATORS AND PENCILS SHOULD BE UP!! I WILL NOT DISMISS YOU UNTIL EVERYONE IS SEATED

Getting Your Attention When I need everyone to stop talking and pay attention to me: I will raise my hand. When you see me raise my hand you must: 1.Raise your hand and keep it up until I put mine down. 2.Stop talking and look at me. 3.Wait for me to speak. This procedure should take us no more than 10 seconds.

Absent/Late Work If it’s excused you will receive full credit I’m going to expect the assignment the DAY YOU RETURN UNEXCUSED: you will receive a zero. I go over all of the answers the next day in my class and answers will be posted on my website. Extreme circumstances
