Presentation transcript:

Room 12 is a great place to be. Mrs. Wilson and Ms Room 12 is a great place to be! Mrs. Wilson and Ms. Nolette’s Super senator third graders!

Room 12 is a great place to be. The rules are great for you and me.

Room 12 is a great place to be when we follow the rules.

Everyday we follow the rules: Follow directions Be respectful Be responsible Be ready Use KHFOOTY Use the WIN strategy when you have a problem

I sit in my spot

I keep my hands to myself

I raise my hand and wait

I listen to adult choices

Sometimes the teacher will let me make a choice. “Do you want to do your math job at your desk or at the table?”

When we follow the rules, adults will give compliments! Compliments are nice words that let us know we did the right thing… “Good job keeping your hands to yourself John!”

When our class gets a compliment, we can put a GREEN popsicle stick in the cup. When our cup is full of 10 green popsicle sticks, the class earns a special surprise!

Yellow reminds us to keep working on our classroom rules! When our class needs a reminder, we can put a YELLOW popsicle stick in the cup. Yellow reminds us to keep working on our classroom rules!

Room 12 is a great place to be when we all follow the rules Room 12 is a great place to be when we all follow the rules! Everyone is happy when we all follow the rules!
