Rosa Louise McCauley Parks (February 4, 1913 – October 24, 2005). Who was Rosa Parks? Rosa Louise McCauley Parks (February 4, 1913 – October 24, 2005). Was the ''first lady of civil rights'', and the ''mother of the freedom movement''.

3 The bus boycott. The Montgomery Bus Boycott, The Montgomery Bus Boycott,was a political and social protest campaign against the policy of racial segregation on the public transit in Alabama. It starts because the black people was tired of te terrible treatment of the white people. Rosa Parks was in a bus and the driver shout at her that she must to move of her seat.

4 The policeman. Parks refused, and she didn't move of her seat. The bus driver returns with a policeman. Rosa Parks was take to comissary.

5 Rosa Parks was arrested for violating segregation laws. NAACP organizers believed that Parks was the best candidate for seeing through a court challenge after her arrest for civil desobedience.

The Montgomery Improvement Association, composed of 8 The Montgomery Improvement Association, composed of local activists and ministers, organized the boycott. As their leader, they chose a young Baptist minister who was new to Montgomery: Marti n Luther King, Jr. Sparked by Mrs. Parks’ action, the boycott lasted 381 days.

9 The police report shows that she was charged with "refusing to obey orders of bus driver." U.S.A. District Court said in another case that racial segregation in the bus was unconstitutional.

1010 She appeared before the judge in Montgomery Municipal Court and she must paid 14$. Rosa Park's lawyer said that it's unjust and he will appeal the case.

1111 Protesters receive threatening phone calls and tickets for trivial violations. One day, while Dr. King was in a church a bomb explodes at his home with her family inside. The supporters are ready to fight but King says that "We must meet violence with nonviolence."

1313 The Montgomery Bus Boycott resounded far beyond the desegregation of public buses; it stimulated the national civil rights movement and launched King into the national spotlight as a leader.
