SCIENCE MISSION DIRECTORATE Discovery Dome reached over 300 visitors and passed out over 1,500 eclipse glasses at the Astronomy Night on the Mall. We put the “A” in STEAM by hosting a local arts group “Neshamah” with a new original dance and music celebrating 50 years of the Voyager Mission. We provided solar system visuals to go with the dance composition, which featured original music played on a computer like a theramin. The dance alternated with presentations on the solar eclipse. The line was 100+ long all evening!
