GRANDPARENTS children parents grandparents

Articles The articles were written by the following students: 1. Arya 2. Vedant Pawar 3. Ashley Rego

Article 1 Grandparents, a word attached to my heart as they care, they share for me till today. I think that mom and dad have values due to them , today whatever they have achieved is due to them. That period was not of prosperity and wealth still they managed and educated my dad, they sacrificed their needs and looked after each and every need of my father, his education, his career and all. My grandparents live in a close by city . We often meet for family gatherings and functions. Whenever my grandparents sees any ups and downs in my health they get very worried about me. Although I don’t meet my grandparents very often I am in constant touch through my cell phone.one things for Shure that whenever I am worried about something they are always there for me

I cant express the importance of my grandparents in my life I cant express the importance of my grandparents in my life. Can we express the importance of oxygen in our life? Can one express the importance of water in ones life? Same is about my grandparents. They are my OXYGEN to live, they are my MOTIVATION to live, they are my INSPERATION to live, THEY ARE THE ONLY REASON FOR ME TO LIVE……. I love my grandparents…. I respect them not because they thought me values but they cared for me, they shared for me. I believe in sharing and caring. What I am due to my parents they are also due to their parents. Hence I would like to say that grandparents are as important as life without oxygen, food and water. - arya

Article 2 Many families have their eldest members thats their grandparents in old age homes as they think that they are useless or to get rid of them because they cant afford the expenses of their medical treatments and medicines. Old age homes take care of them in a way that they feel that they are home. But if u look at the scene from the person whose going through it that’s our grandparents .they might be feeling thrown out of their houses by not anyone else but by their own children who they have brought up with loads of struggles. The thought that our parents must get is that what if we are also thrown into these homes by our own children if we are not treating our own parents correctly? Are we setting a good example for our own children.

Whereas grandparents should also have the right of freedom of living Whereas grandparents should also have the right of freedom of living. They are the senior citizens of our country. Many grandparents go to the gym, go for yoga, cycling, and regular exercise. They enjoy their time in their own SENIOR CITIZENS CLUB, where they have regular meetings and activities organized by their head for their fitness. Some grandparents greet anyone on the road when they are crossing the roads even if they don’t know the other person. This makes them happy. Grandparents are like gods for some children as they are the only ones who carry ancient ideas in this modern world and many of them still come in use today. Each family should have their grandparents staying with them 24x7 if they are alive and respect them as they also have a lot of feelings for u . -VEDANT PAWAR

Article 3. Grandparents are very unique people in the family given to us by god. They have more experience living this ‘game of LIFE’. Some of our grandparents especially our grandfathers might have struggled a lot in their early stages of life as they had to do a lot of things. All this is to make us happy . Grandparent have done what not for us as we have been so greedy in things and we ‘just want what we want’ and even if our parents say a “no” they will always back us and make sure we are happy . Family members all need to practice forgiveness or they will live in a constant welter of pretty quarrels and family drama.

one more important thing: most of the time, forgiveness does’nt need to be offered publically. It takes place in the human heart. Many of us must be seeing our grandparents as the eldest members of the family but…. DO THEY GET THE RESPECT?? DO THEY GET THE LUXURY?? DO THEY GET ENOUGH OF OUR TIME?? Nowadays family's are putting the elder members of the family in old age homes thinking they are good for nothing. But if u closely look at it on a good side. Many of us children love our grandparents more than anything in our life. Many people give them the respect that they deserve and that’s that they all want from us and it becomes our duty to give it to them.

But what would it be without our grandparents: There would be no one to help us when our parents cannot . When we are in a quarrel with our elders there would be no support that our grandparents give. There would be no one to pamper us like our grandparents. And what not because they are ready to anything for our happiness. To conclude I would like to personally tell u all that the only thing that is goanna make a difference is to give some of your precious time to the even more precious people, because no one knows what's goanna happen tomorrow. So make the best of today -ASHLEY REGO
