Drawing, painting, and sculpting are not only enjoyable, but they also provide strong cross-curricular opportunities as well (i.e. Math, Literacy, Social Studies, etc.). Students will find a variety of materials in my classroom that will help them learn and explore the fundamentals of art. Students will create a portfolio that will show growth from year to year at KMS. The portfolio will include: art production, art history, criticism, and aesthetics. Art is much about the process.
