Quarter 4 Week 4

Monday Weather cards! In groups, analyze the picture on the card then read the back. As a group, complete the task. We will all share out our different “weather cards” Turn in your task with everyone’s name on it

Tuesday & Wednesday Use the ipads to complete the Weather Webquest. If any links do not work due to “flash” complete at home or use the classroom desktops  Due Friday

Warm up 11/17/16 Grab a copy of the Folklore Weather Forecasts Complete and glue down onto page 82 (right side!) What have you learned that you can add to your “L” column of your KWL? Update your agendas!

Daily Weather map Title the top of page 84 “Daily Weather Map” Put your maps in order sequentially Look at your maps as a group Discuss the patterns Write them as bulleted points in your notebook Write/Draw the symbols that you saw on your maps. Beside them, write what you think they mean.

Warm up – 11/18 Pick up the Weather Map Challenge – this is due Monday Update agenda: Webquest is due TODAY 2L Bottles requested for lab Monday Current Event #3 due Wednesday – if you are going to be gone, turn it in early!

C.U.R.E. “Storm chasers” article As you read the article on Storm Chasers, annotate and put on page 86. Choose 1 line of the article and record it on page 85. Reflect on why you chose that line. Be prepared to share your line with others 
