Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come, and the years draw near when you say, "I have no pleasure in them."

JOSIAH: Remembering God In Your Youth 2 Chronicles 34

Josiah Chose A Different Path Manasseh – Josiah’s grandfather; ruled 55 years; probably most wicked king Amon – Josiah’s father; only reigned two years; evil; own servants killed him Josiah – “And he did what was right in the sight of the LORD, & walked in the ways of his father David; he did not turn aside to the right hand or to the left” (2 Chronicles 34:2).

Key Events in Josiah’s Life: 34:3 – Begins to seek the God of his father David at the age of 16. 34:3 – Purges Judah & Jerusalem of idolatrous corruptions at the age of 20. 34:8 – Repairs the house of God, the temple at the age of 26.

Key Events in Josiah’s Life: 34:15, 19 – Book of Law is Discovered and Read to Josiah. 34:30 – Gathers All the People of Judah Together to Read the Law. 35:1-2, 18-19 – The King Observes the Passover with Judah and Israel.
