Connecting the Sections and Incorporating Feedback Edit three times!!

1. Connections between the Sections Specific Aims Page Includes Why work is in top 10% of importance How work will impact human health Hypothesis Aims Significance: Background, Importance, Impact Innovation: Why approach is novel, new technology or approach, novel hypothesis

Approach: Introduction Tie aims to hypothesis and significance, present specific background Can treat each aim separately with strategy, techniques and preliminary data Or present the overall strategy first, common methods for all aims and preliminary data that apply to all aims

Experimental Plan Have you explained why aim requires specific preliminary data presented? Have you described what you expect? Have you seriously identified outcomes that are contrary to your expectations and alternative approaches? Have you stated how your results will fulfill the promise of your significance.

2. Modify in Response to Critiques Clarify Simplify Cut
