The History of Female Leaders The oldest religions had nurturing female gods.

Male gods Male gods were martial, aggressive, and usually required some type of blood sacrifice.

The gods took on the gender characteristics of their model. Women are warm fuzzies. Men are cold pricklies.

Wise women were valued by ancient men. It was assumed that men were strong and women were smart.

Dolphins (on average) have one gram of brain weight for every 700 grams of body weight. Chimpanzees have one gram of brain weight for every 860 grams of body weight. Humans have one gram of brain weight for every 144 grams of body weight.

Brain size=intelligence? We use the brain size/body size ratio as a measure of potential intelligence interspecies. Why not use it intraspecies? Women have one gram of brain weight for every 143 grams of body weight. Men have one gram of brain weight for every 145 grams of body weight. Women have larger brains than men.

But, because men are physically more powerful, women had to develop other strategies to gain power.

Corrupt alpha males, desperate to hold on to power have sought to suppress the female intellect for millennia.

Today powerful women must exert their power behind the scenes.

Why cannot women become leaders in their own right? Based on merit and ability there are millions of women out there who should be leaders, but are denied solely for reasons of gender.
