I AM the Bread of Life John 6 What is more essential than bread? Oxygen? 3-5 minutes Water? 3-5 days Bread? 40 days

We are made to be hungry Our bodies need physical food. Hunger for him is built in. From the Tower of Babel to the Aztecs men have hungered for God. As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. 2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. Psm 42

The Hunger for God Continues Matthew 5:6 One can be full-fed yet hungry. Jesus is the only lasting bread. Facing life alone is frightening. Bread – used 13 times in this chapter It starts with five loaves and two fish.

Necessary Facts Bread must be available Jesus is! Jesus’ love is readily available Life, energy, and wholeness are in Him. He is the only constant in this old world.
