WITH KEN STAMATIS AfricaReads, Inc. is a recognized 501-3c non-profit whose primary aim is to partner with schools and educators in the country of Rwanda. Founded in 2008 by Ken Stamatis, a Harding faculty member in the Cannon-Clary College of Education, Harding University, to address needs he realized on a trip made in 2008 at the request of the Ministry of Education of the country of Rwanda. He sits on the Board of the organization while Adam and Leslie Baker function as co-executive directors of the organization.
