1* Present Simple Rule : ( am / is / are + p.p ) Example : * Ali writes the lesson . The lesson is written by Ali . * The boys play football . Football is played by the boys . * Samia cleans the rooms . The rooms are cleaned by Samia . * The teacher gives me a prize . I am given a prize .

2. Past Simple Rule : ( was/ were + p.p ) Examples : * The car hit the tree yesterday . The tree was hit by the car yesterday . * The girl broke the windows . The window were broken by the girl . * He ate three apples . Three apples were eaten by him . * Salma wrote a short story . A short story was written by Salma .

3. Present Perfect Rule : ( has / have + been + p.p ) Examples: * They have eaten lunch . Lunch has been eaten by them . * I have written many novels . Many novels have been written by me . * Shadi has won the cup . The cup has been won by Shadi . * He has painted the doors . The doors have been painted by him .

4. Past Perfect Rule : ( had + been + p.p ) Examples : * They had climbed the mountain. The mountain had been climbed. *We had bought some computers. Some computers had been bought by us.

5. Present Continuous Rule : ( am / is / are + being + p.p ) Examples : * She is cleaning the house . The house is being cleaned . * We are watching TV . TV is being watched . * She is drawing flowers . Flowers are being drawn . * Ahmad is making tables and chairs . Tables and chairs are being made .

6. Past Continuous Rule : ( was/ were + being + p.p ) Examples : * He was doing his homework . His homework was being done. * The girls were playing chess . Chess was being played . * I was reading short stories . Short stories were being read .

7.Present modals (future) Rule : ( will/can/must +be + p.p ) Examples : * He can speak French . French can be spoken . * Ali will visit Jerusalem . Jerusalem will be visited . * They must wash their hands . Their hands must be washed .

8. Past modals Rule : ( should/could + be + p.p) Examples : * We should clean the class . The class should be cleaned . * I could find your lost keys . Your lost keys could be found . * He would help his father . His father would be helped .
